Over the Top Run, Bike and Brew Race & Festival

West Mountain’s Annual Over the Top Run (5K Trail Run), Bike (10K Mountain Bike) & Brew Festival 2020!

West Mountain’s Annual Over the Top Run (5K Trail Run for ages 8 and older), Bike (10K Mountain Bike for ages 12 and over) & Brew Festival, will take place at West Mountain Ski Resort on Saturday, August 22, 2020 from 10am-5pm!

The Over the Top 5K Trail Run, 10K Mountain Bike Event benefiting Double H Ranch and West Mountain School, begins at 10am. Registrants can just run, just bike, or do both (run and bike duathlon). Duathlon Teams (one to bike, one to run) are also welcome! Race registration and check in will take place in the main lodge from 7:45 am-9 am on 8/22. The run only and duathlon races will begin at 10am. The bike only race will begin at 11am. Awards will take place near the fire pit behind the Main Lodge following the races around 2pm. The event takes place at the top of the mountain and all competitors will take the West Express Chairlift to the start and down to the base area via the chairlift following the race for awards and the festival. Online registration has closed. Walk-in registrations are welcome from 7:45-9am on race day 8/22 in the Main Lodge. 

Online registration will close at 10am on Friday, August 21st. We will accept same-day registrations on 8/22 at Check-In/Registration. Mail-in registration forms are available Below, and checks for the race can be made to West Mountain Racing.

The Brew Festival will take place in the Main Courtyard from 11am-3pm and will be open to competitors, customers and the public.  Tickets for The Beer Garden will be sold at the garden entry (5 tickets for $20 for 12 ounce pours). Marathon Brewing Co., Sam Adams Seasonal, Sam Adams IPA, Coney Island Brewing Co., Twisted Tea, and Truly will be offered. Live music will also be offered and mountaintop yoga. 

West Mountain’s Bike Park and Aerial Adventure Park will be open on race day and bike competitors are welcome to ride the trails for the day following the race. Aerial Tree Top Adventure Buy One, Get One Free Offer will be available the day of the event! West Mountain Sports offers Scott Bike downhill and cross-country bike rentals and demos.
