AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS| REGISTER NOW
West Mountain has been making kids happy while teaching them to learn to ski and snowboard with their school friends since 1961. Our After School Programs begin Jan. 3, 2023 and run for 6 weeks (not including holiday break weeks), and all participating schools come one day a week on their designated day of the week. 22-23 Program Registration is now open! New in 22-23.....we are moving to an RFID ticketing system. Details and updates are available HERE.
Please Note: Some Schools have a delayed registration, which will be notated on the Shop Now pages, as per the school organizer's request. Please contact your school's organizer for more details. Some schools are currently looking for a new organizer for the After School program. If you are interested in being an After School organizer, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call 518-636-3699 ext. 0.
If your school is not a member of our After School Program and you are interested in learning more, please contact email@example.com or call 518-636-3699 ext. 0. ADD-ON OPTIONS FOR THE 2022/2023 AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS INCLUDE:
Add A Lesson: We recommend all After School Program participants enroll in lessons to advance their skills. Lessons involve a 1.5-hour group session where skiers and riders are grouped by age & ability. Skiers & snowboarders of all levels will have 6 weeks to learn to ski and snowboard while meeting new friends. A lesson is a great way to start things off.
Add Rentals: Our Rental shop, located at West Mountain, offers two types of rental options:
Season-long rentals that you keep at home for the season and can use anywhere, and
Six-week rentals that you keep at West which can be used during your program.
All renters will need to visit West Mountain Sports (across the courtyard from the Main Lodge) to be fitted for your equipment ahead of the season. Seasonal renters should register for the program and stop in soon after purchase to be fitted for equipment to take home and keep for the season.
Add A Meal Plan: The Meal Plan includes 6 meals to be redeemed during your child’s program time and day of the week. Each student has the option to choose one from the following:
Cup of soup or chili
Slice of pizza
Students can also add a small salad or fries as well as add a small fountain drink or milk.
* Beginning in 22-23, all Program participants will be charged an RFID card fee. There will be an additional replacement fee if the card is lost, stolen, etc. Participants will need their RFID card to access the lift.
